You always know it’s a great place to eat when it’s packed. All the tables were full and people are standing in line. We went right after the church rush so that was our fault. But the service was still great and the food was amazing.

While visiting from PA and our son went to a conference at Mililkin College. Was great spot for late breakfast.

nothing better than finding a family friendly, cozy breakfast spot in a historic bldg. downtown. warm smiles and greetings all around. Simple yet above standard breakfast or lunch options. had to try the biscuits and gravy with sides of bacon and egg. biscuits were fluffy and gravy made with bits of sausage, smooth and creamy texture were a perfect match. highly recommend but missed out on a picture of eggs benedict, the special of the day. looking forward to returning and trying lunch!

This was our first time here. To the point, service was not the quickest but there was only 1 server and a cook that I could see. Server was nice and took good care of us. Took our order, brought drinks, did refills, etc., in a timely manner. Food was hot, good and plenty of it. Not fancy, good homecooked food and you don't have to do the dishes! Servings could have been 2 meals but I was hungry! We had omelets, pancakes, French toast . When you're riding down Main St., in Decatur, Il stop and try this local spot.

Great local spot, highly recommend! Super friendly folks and good food, simple, the way it should be. Definitely a go to for breakfast. 11/02/2023 They handled our work related breakfast of 21 guests with flying colors. Tyler waited on us and was fantastic. And kudos to the kitchen! All of our food came out super quick. For a group of 21 to finish in under an hour?....(Still)Amazing!

This is the second time I have eaten here. The waitress greeted us with a smile and anticipated our needs. Had build omelet with side of bacon. It was excellent. They put a lot of work into their food and service.. This is a great place to eat and enjoy the atmosphere. I highly recommend it!!

They were super busy when we arrived at the restaurant, and there was a line, so it took a little while to be seated. We were so hungry since we had just finished the Prairie Pedal Ride at Rock Springs. We had a very friendly waitress that kept our mugs full while we waited for our food.
